Tua Tagovailoa announces he’ll make his ‘decision on the 6th’ about NFL Draft

Tua Tagovailova is one of the rising stars in college football

Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was on the field for the coin toss and watched the Citrus Bowl on the sideline with his teammates. Then, after the bowl game, he made an announcement about when fans can expect a decision about his future.

Tagovailoa wrote on Twitter that, “I’ll be making my decision on the 6th.”

One assumes Tagovailoa means he’ll make an official announcement about whether he stays at Alabama or declare for the 2020 NFL Draft in a few days, on Jan. 6.

If Tagovailoa does come out of school early and declares for the draft, then it’s safe to assume he and NFL teams have a lot of confidence that his season-ending hip injury will recover fast and fully. And if that does happen, he should be a first-round pick, if not selected in the top half of Round 1.
