Nets star Kevin Durant opens up about the death of Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant death

We heard from Los Angeles Lakers great LeBron James late Monday night for the first time since Kobe Bryant’s tragic death this past weekend.

As reactions from the NBA community continue to pour in, Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant opened up about Bryant’s tragic passing.

The injured two-time MVP talked at length about what Bryant meant to him as a kid growing up in D.C. and how Kobe’s death has impacted him.

You could tell Mr. Durant was emotional in talking about the death of one of the game’s best ever.

That’s something else right there. Durant is one that never really shows emotion.

It’s something we’ve seen repeated over and over again since Bryant, his daughter and seven others died in Sunday’s helicopter accident in Southern California.
