The Green Bay Packers were holding a five-point lead late in Sunday’s NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.
This is when Aaron Rodgers hit Jimmy Graham on a third-down pass that seemed to be short of the first-down marker.
As Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was losing his mind on the sideline, Green Bay was able to take a knee and set up a meeting with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.
For his part, Davante Adams appears to be having none of the criticism after a dominating performance against Seattle.
Adams actually has a solid point here. The yellow first-down marker on our television screens is not official. As you can see, the red line there is the official first-down marker. If that is indeed the case (it is), Graham did get the first down.
Either way, it’s yet another controversial ending around the NFL. That’s for sure.
