In what can’t be considered too much of a surprise, one of the nation’s best pass rushers has decided to forgo another season in college and declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.
Iowa defensive end A. J. Epenesa announced on Instagram Tuesday morning that he’s jumping to the pros.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound edge rusher recorded 30.5 tackles for loss and 22 sacks over the past two seasons with the Hawkeyes.
A two-time All-Big Ten performer, we project Epenesa will land somewhere within the top-15 picks of April’s draft. That’s just how good he is.
