WATCH: Jared Cook scorches Titans for 61-yard revenge TD

There is nothing sweeter for NFL players than revenge. New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook experienced that feeling on Sunday with a 61-yard touchdown against his former team.

New Orleans needed an offensive spark trailing 14-3 before halftime. When Drew Brees saw Cook left open downfield, he hit him in stride for the huge play. Cook then turned upfield and, with the help of Alvin Kamara’s blocking, sprinted down the sideline for the revenge touchdown against the Tennessee Titans.

Tennessee drafted Cook with its third-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. After showing flashes in his four seasons with the Titans, he bounced around the league and has established himself as one of the NFC’s best pass-catching tight ends.

It had to feel great for Cook to make the big play against his former team. Now the Saints will hope the Titans forget about him again, so he can make this revenge game even sweeter.
