Former Pro Bowler C.J. Anderson blasts Seahawks after workout

Dealing with a plethora of injuries at running back, the Seattle Seahawks worked out multiple street free agents at that position on Monday.

When all was said and done, Seattle ultimately brought back Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin. Both played for the team in the past.

Former Pro Bowler C.J. Anderson, who is the only player from the trio who has suited up this season, was not signed.

This apparently did not sit well with the former Pro Bowler. He sent out a tweet Monday night indicating he’s done with football before clarifying his stance early Christmas Eve.

We’re not exactly too sure what happened behind the scenes, but it’s rather obvious that Anderson is not happy about the entire situation.

Signing Lynch made sense. It’s a big move ahead of Seatle’s battle with the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC West crown this coming Sunday night.

Turbin is the larger question mark. He’s gained 63 rushing yards since the end of the 2016 season. Anderson? All he did was help the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl after being signed late last season. That span saw him put up 488 rushing yards in five games, postseason included.
