Midway through the fourth quarter of Friday night’s UCF game against Tulsa, Knights teammates Nate Evand and Kenny Turnier got into it with one another.

The ESPN announcing crew seemed to think that the altercation stemmed from Turner telling Turnier to get off the ground and get off the field. Head coach Josh Heupel had to get in the middle of it and break the heated players apart.

It’s not all that surprising that tempers are flaring. Tulsa has a 2-7 record but is taking it to UCF tonight. At the time of the altercation between Evans and Turnier, the game was all knotted up at 31-31.
