Dallas Mavericks power forward Kristaps Porzingis made his return to Madison Square Garden on Thursday night and the reunion surpassed everyone’s expectations.

After New York’s fans greeted him with ugly language and a chorus of boos. The all-Star forward managed to put it behind him and focus on the game. After the buzzer went off to end the second quarter, though, instincts kicked in and Porzingis started walking back to the locker room he knew best at MSG.

It didn’t take long before it clicked for Porzingis that he was headed the wrong way. He quickly turned himself around, right on the Knicks logo at midcourt, and made his way towards the visitor’s locker room.

After playing with the Knicks for three seasons and spending so much time in the team’s locker room, it’s hard to blame him for the mistake. We’ll now have to see how Porzingis reacts if the Mavericks lose to the Knicks.
