Indiana was hanging tough with Penn State in the third quarter when one of the worst fake punts we have seen all year led to a huge shift in momentum.

Facing 4th-and-1 from their own 44-yard line, the Hoosiers decided to call a timeout. That way, you know, they could attack the situation with the perfect play.

Out of the timeout, which was dumb to begin with, this is the play that Indiana had come up with.

That’s just brutally bad.

Peyton Hendershot had absolutely no chance to do anything positive with this play. And then, adding insult to injury, two plays later Penn State running back Journey Brown romped 35 yards to the house to go up by two scores, 27-14.
