Sports world reacts to news James Wiseman ruled ineligible by NCAA

Stunning news broke Friday evening as Memphis attorney Leslie Ballin shared that the NCAA has ruled James Wiseman ineligible to play for the Tigers in 2019-20.

The NCAA deemed that Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway was deemed a booster (what?) because he helped finance Wiseman and his family’s move to Memphis back in high school.

This wasn’t the only big news centered around the NCAA on Friday, either, as Ohio State defensive end Chase Young won’t play Saturday because the NCAA is investigating him for taking a personal loan from a family friend.

The absurdity of an entity that rakes in over $1 billion per year coming down like this on young athletes is just stunning.

Many analysts and fans expressed their feelings after the news broke.
