Ravens QB Lamar Jackson leads all NFL players in Pro Bowl voting

The first round of NFL Pro Bowl voting was released on Monday. In what can’t be considered too much of a surprise, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leads the pack.

It’s not necessarily that close with Patrick Mahomes coming in at two and Russell Wilson rounding out the top three.

This comes after Jackson put up a dazzling four-touchdown performance in a 41-7 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday. It also comes with the second-year quarterback seen as the odds-on favorite to win the NFL MVP.

Jackson has accounted for 3,046 total yards to go with 25 touchdowns and just five interceptions in 10 games this season.

At this point, it’s pretty much a two-way race between Jackson and Russell Wilson for the league MVP award.

As it relates to Pro Bowl voting, it’s nice to see two running backs in that of Dalvin Cook and Christian McCaffrey in the top five.

Both also have to be seen as under-the-radar MVP candidates should voters go in another direction rather than quarterback.
