LOOK: Eagles fans campaigning for team to sign Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown arrest

The Philadelphia Eagles are without starting receivers Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor for Sunday’s pivotal game against the Seattle Seahawks.

It’s a continuation of season-long issues at wide receiver for the .500 team heading down the stretch.

Some Eagles fans on hand for said game are now openly campaigning for the team to sign troubled free-agent receiver Antonio Brown. The message is clear, and it is being sent to general manager Howie Roseman.

Despite their issues at receiver, it remains highly unlikely that the Eagles will sign Brown. He’s currently being investigated by the NFL regarding allegations of sexual assault.

The six-time Pro Bowler was released by the Patriots after just one game earlier this season once the allegations became public record. That came after a drama-filled short tenure with the Oakland Raiders.

We’ll see if the Eagles consider signing Brown depending on what happens Sunday. Their leading active receiver for the game is Mack Hollins, who has caught 10 passes in as many games.
