The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without starting tight end O.J. Howard for Sunday’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

Howard, who missed the team’s Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans, was unable to participate in practice this week with a hamstring strain suffered in practice last week.

Before suffering the hamstring injury. Howard saw limited targets in Bruce Arians’ offensive system. The 24-year-old hauled in 13-of-18 targets with 176 receiving yards and zero touchdowns.

Cameron Brate will step in as Tampa Bay’s primary tight end. He saw just two targets and finished with eight receiving yards in the same role against Tennessee.
