We’re going to go ahead and give new Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant credit for making fun of himself.
Durant just recently appeared on former teammate Serge Ibaka’s Bleacher Report cooking show. Ibaka is known for having his guests eat all sorts of rare food.
For Durant, that means feasting on some snake. You read that right, the two-time NBA Finals MVP, who some have called a snake for leaving the Oklahoma City Thunder for the Golden State Warriors years back, was eating some serpent.
For someone that’s seen as soft and too concerned about his reputation, this is some self-deprecating humor from Mr. Durant right here.
KD was initially hesitant to eat the snake before Ibaka said he’d feast with him. The NBA champion also let it be known what he has a fear of snake before making a Black Mamba joke in reference to Kobe Bryant.
Just great stuff.
