Ravens OLB Pernell McPhee has triceps injury that is expected to end his season

The Baltimore Ravens may be without outside linebacker Pernell McPhee the remainder of the season due to a triceps injury.

Shortly afterward, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed this report.

McPhee signed a one-year deal with Baltimore this past offseason after spending a year playing with the Washington Redskins. He previously played with Chicago for three years but was originally a fifth-round pick by the Ravens in 2011.

On the season, the outside linebacker has tallied 19 tackles and three sacks. For his career, the veteran has racked up 212 tackles and 34 sacks, along with one interception.

Baltimore is thin at outside linebacker, so this is a significant injury for this defense.
