Report: Falcons release longtime K Matt Bryant

Matt Bryant released by Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have moved on from longtime kicker Matt Bryant after some major struggles for both the veteran and the team this season.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Atlanta has released the 44-year-old Bryant.

An undrafted free-agent signing of the New York Giants back in 2002, Bryant spent 10-plus seasons with Atlanta.

He converted on just 9-of-14 field goal attempts this season. That would be by far the lowest percentage of his career.

Atlanta signed veteran Younghoe Koo to replace Bryant.
