Bills QB Josh Allen remains in concussion protocol

The Buffalo Bills may have to take on the Tennessee Titans without star quarterback Josh Allen, who remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

Allen suffered a concussion and was knocked out of last Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots when Jonathan Jones hit him in the head. Allen crumpled to the ground and remained down for some time after the big hit.

If the Bills don’t have Allen available for Sunday’s game, then it would be veteran backup Matt Barkley under center. He struggled against New England, completing 56.2% of his passes for just 127 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
