WATCH: Texas fools Oklahoma State on gorgeous trick-play touchdown

Texas Longhorns football

College football is better than any other at delighting fans with incredible trick plays and the Texas Longhorns delivered one of the best this season for a go-ahead touchdown.

Quarterback Sam Ehlinger handed the ball off to running back Keaontay Ingram. As Ingram carried the ball left, he flipped the ball wide receiver Jake Smith coming back to the right. Smith then flipped it back to Ehlinger and he hit tight end Cade Brewer for the 25-yard touchdown.

We’ve seen plenty of reverses this season where the team will hand the ball off then run a reverse for a big play. Texas put a new spin on that by getting the ball back in Ehlinger’s hands and it resulted in a wide-open target and a go-ahead score.

Texas’ offense is already dangerous with Ehlinger’s dual-threat ability at quarterback. Mixing in looks and movements like this will only make it even more difficult for defenses to contain them.
