We’ve seen some pretty absurd bets being placed on college football already this year, and now here comes another. As shared by Ben Fawkes of ESPN, someone laid down a $1,000 money-line bet on Auburn at -20,000 to beat Kent State.

The return on that hefty investment?

Just five bucks.

That’s a lot of risk for an incredibly small reward.

Kent State isn’t likely to pull off the big upset, but I’d hate to be in the same room as this person if the Golden Flashes do wreak havoc with a win Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
