The morning after being taken off the field on a stretcher following a nasty hit, Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams shared a positive update on Instagram.
Williams thanked football fans for their thoughts and checking in on him after the scary moment and said the only thing hurting now is his pride. He also expressed his blessings for Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Avonte Maddox, who was also taken to the hospital after a similar collision in the fourth quarter.
While Thursday’s action between the Eagles and Packers provided plenty of entertainment, seeing two players carted off the field and taken to the hospital with head injuries scared everyone across the NFL.
Fortunately, both Williams and Maddox appear to be relatively ok and we could even see them on the field in the near future.
