LOOK: Jalen Ramsey likes post of him heading to the Lions

It’s still silly time around the National Football League. That’s what happens when multiple star players request trades during the early part of the season.

Following a spat with head coach Doug Marrone, that’s exactly what Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey did earlier this week.

Needless to say, interest in Ramsey will be hot and heavy around the NFL. Rumors about potential landing spots are also taking off.

Ramsey isn’t doing much to throw cold water into the flames. He just recently liked an Instagram post of the cornerback heading to the Detroit Lions.

There’s been nothing concrete linking Ramsey to the Lions. However, we’re darn sure Detroit is one of about 31 teams to have expressed internal interest in the game’s best young cornerback.

Jacksonville is said to be asking two first-round picks for Ramsey. That’s about the going rate for someone of his ilk after the Dolphins received two first rounders for Laremy Tunsil and the Raiders acquired a similar bounty for Khalil Mack.

It’s still going to limit interest in Ramsey’s services, especially given his outspoken ways.

No matter the asking price, it’s hard to envision Ramsey lasting the remainder of this season in Jacksonville.

His sideline “fight” with Marrone could have acted as a crossing of the proverbial Rubicon regarding Ramsey’s relationship with the Jaguars.
