The Antonio Brown drama in Oakland doesn’t look like it’s going to die down any time soon.
Brown made news around Raiders camp this summer when he missed multiple practices with both a foot injury and concerns over the NFL’s helmet policy.
It led to the six-time Pro Bowler filing multiple grievances against the NFL. It also led to widespread absences during training camp. In turn, the Raiders have fined Brown nearly $54,000. The receiver is not having it.
The last thing Oakland needs ahead of its season opener against the Broncos next Monday night is more drama between the organization and its newly-acquired star receiver. Alas, that appears to be the case.
Given the comments from Raiders general manager Mike Mayock about Brown, this latest antic is unlikely to sit well within the team’s front office.
