The Detroit Lions head into Sunday’s home game as seven-point underdogs against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sure Detroit is undefeated on the season at 2-0-1, but very few are giving the team much of a chance against the Chiefs and their electric offense led by the reigning NFL MVP.

It’s nothing if not realistic. Kansas City has outscored its first three opponents by a combined tally of 101-64. Meanwhile, Detroit tied at home back in Week 1 against the winless Arizona Cardinals.
This could very well be a case of reverse psychology on the young lady’s part. But it seems to be more about self-deprecating humor than anything else.
