Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman praise Antonio Brown: ‘One of the hardest working guys in the league’

The New England Patriots have welcomed Antonio Brown into their midst with arms wide open this past week. Ahead of Sunday’s game in Miami, Josh Gordon continued the trend, praising his new teammate in a big way.

Gordon said that Brown is “one of the hardest working guys in the league” and that he’s “come here every day doing the same thing.” Gordon also said that the Patriots expect Brown to live up to his past production, and that Brown expects the same from himself.

Julian Edelman also heaped the praise on Brown.

The on-field stuff has never been an issue for Brown. He truly is one of the hardest-working guys in the league. He’s also one of the most talented and productive players in the NFL today.

What remains to be seen is whether Brown can adhere to the “Patriot Way” and stay low key off the field. That’s the stuff he’s been unable to stay away from in Pittsburgh and Oakland, and he already has significant drama hanging over his head in New England in the form of a sexual harassment lawsuit levied against him by a former trainer.

The NFL is investigating her claim, but in the meantime Brown is an active player on New England’s roster and will likely play his first game with the Patriots Sunday in Miami against the hapless Dolphins.
