How did Houston Rockets guard James Harden get over another premature playoff exit?

According to TMZ Sports, he threw multiple huge parties at a Beverly Hills mansion the former NBA MVP rented out back in August.

Unfortunately for Harden, it might hit his wallet more than the $82,200 he paid to rent the $30 million mansion.

George Santopietro, who owns the 14,500 square foot estate, is suing Harden for at least $300,000. Why? Breach of contract and damage done at the estate during the parties.

“Santopietro claims the property was damaged during the parties and neighbors are pissed, and he wants Harden to fork over AT LEAST $300,000 to cover the usual party fee he charges,” the report noted.

Santopietro claims that the rental contract called for Harden to have no more than seven guests at the estate at a given time. He also indicates that a higher rental fee of $150,000 would have been in the cards if Harden had indicated he planned on throwing parties at the mansion.

Even if he loses this suit, it’s not really going to impact Mr. Harden’s bank account. He’s in the midst of a six-year, $228 million contract.
