WATCH: Jets-Falcons offer us most preseason play of the summer

We could really use some Benny Hill music as the background for this one specific play in Thursday’s preseason game between the New York Jets and Atlanta Falcons.

Early in the fourth quarter with Atlanta up 10-9 in what had already been an ugly game, Falcons backup quarterback Matt Simms lost a fumble. It was pretty bad on his part. What followed was a blooper reel of epic proportions.

Just count how many players touched the ball before Jets linebacker Anthony Wint returned it 26 yards to set up a go-ahead touchdown.

The quarterback play was brutal. Defenders and offensive players couldn’t keep their eye on the price. The result was something similar to us playing Thanksgiving football in the snow with our siblings. Fun.
