It’s only preseason football, but fifth-year Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston was playing like his job is on the line (because it is) Friday night against the Miami Dolphins.

Miami’s Jerome Baker came screaming into the backfield on a blitz and appeared to have an easy sack lined up on Winston. Then, the former No. 1 overall pick pulled off a Houdini act to avoid the sack and even gained yards on his scramble.

Not so fast, defender! What a slick move to escape that would-be tackle.

Winston has so much natural talent. Hopefully this season, he can finally develop into a true franchise quarterback under head coach Bruce Arians and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.
