It’s the start of the NFL season and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is already providing fans at Lambeau Field with memories they’ll never forget.

Before Thursday’s preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, Watt took some time to play catch with a section of fans along the bleachers who came early for the game.

There’s a reason the Wisconsin native is loved by so many in communities across the country, especially in Texas and Wisconsin.

His commitment to spending time with others and helping them experience special moments is part of what made him NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2018.
