Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has been limited to a couple appearances during the first week-plus of training camp.
Up until Saturday, the Raiders have been quiet about what’s ailing Brown. But now, it appears that the Pro Bowler is dealing with a foot injury. According to this report from Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Brown is seeing a foot specialist on Saturday.
There’s no other information available as it relates to the type or extent of the injury. What we do know is that Raiders head coach Jon Gruden has expressed frustration over Brown’s extended absence from camp. This could explain why.
Acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers in a blockbuster trade this past spring, Oakland is relying on Brown to be a top-end receiving option for veteran quarterback Derek Carr.
