On Monday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were working on the field when their training camp practice was interrupted by a toddler rushing the field.
Jenna Laine of ESPN shared that a security guard was carrying the child, attempting to get off the field when he tripped and both of them fell to the ground.
A little while later, someone did share video, and the tumble wasn’t exactly graceful.
Hopefully both of them are okay.
What’s kind of wild is that this isn’t the first toddler-running-onto-the-field incident at Bucs practice recently, as Laine herself can attest.
As a public service announcement, I’ll gladly mention that there are some amazing toddler backpacks that include a leash.
