WATCH: No-look tag from Cubs’ Javier Baez has to be seen

The San Diego Padres were threatening to tie Saturday’s game against the Chicago Cubs in the ninth inning.

Down 6-5, Wil Myers attempted to steal second base. It looked like he had beat the thrown from catcher Victor Caratini.

Unfortunately for Myers, he didn’t take into account Javier Baez and the shortstop’s ability to lay a no-look tag on the Padres’ veteran.

Check this thing out. It has to be seen to be believed.

How is that even possible? We have some real questions here, Javy.

Regardless of whether Myers’ decision to attempt a steal made much sense, Baez’ play is the headliner here. It represented the second out.

Minutes later the Cubs walked off Wrigley Field with a 6-5 win. They can thank the MVP candidate for that.
