The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are currently holding their breath after Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans was carted off the practice field Tuesday.
Evans was seen in a great deal of pain, limping to the cart.
Many who were watching speculated that Evans was dealing with cramping. Certainly, that would be a best-case scenario.
Tampa Bay just doled out a massive extension for Evans last year. He’s one of the best receivers in the game today and has been a star since his rookie season as a first-round pick out of Texas A&M.
In his first five seasons as a pro, Evans has caught 395 passes for 6,103 yards and 40 touchdowns.
