New York Mets slugger Pete Alonso narrowly advanced in the first round of the Home Run Derby, defeating Cleveland Indians slugger Carlos Santana at the last second of regulation.

Most of the people in Cleveland’s Progressive Field were not happy to see Alonso defeat Santana. One fan, though made the most of the opportunity.

We don’t usually see diving grabs in the stands. There are plenty of good reasons for that, by the way. The fans usually aren’t that athletic and the ground isn’t all that forgiving.

This guy, though, was not missing his chance. With so many balls flying over his head, he may not have had another chance.

As far as the woman he cut in front of, we can only hope she’s more aggressive next time.
