New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone had a meltdown of epic proportions during game one of a doubleheader Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays.
While Boone’s tirade ignited a win over Tampa following a rain delay, it will cost the second-year manager one game.
According to multiple media reports, Boone has been suspended one game by MLB.
This can’t be considered too much of a surprise. As MLB notes, Boone did make contact with the home plate umpire.
He’ll serve the suspension on Friday against the Colorado Rockies.
