LOOK: Mets’ foul poles now have…advertisements

The New York Mets have found many ways to embarrass themselves over the past couple seasons.

Running out of fireworks during a 4th of July celebration last year is one of the biggest black eyes for the downtrodden organization off the field.

We can now add another layer to this embarrassment. Check out the remodeled foul poles at Citi Field.

Yes, the foul poles legitimately have advertisements. You really can’t make this up. How in the world did New York’s brass think this was somehow a good idea? It’s absolutely hideous.
