Eagles sign veteran CB Orlando Scandrick, per report

The Philadelphia Eagles have added a veteran presence in the defensive backfield at the start of training camp. According to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo, Philadelphia has signed cornerback Orlando Scandrick.

Scandrick, 32, spent his first 10 NFL seasons with the division-rival Dallas Cowboys before playing the 2018 campaign in Kansas City with the Chiefs. He had worked out with the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week.

Pretty much a full-time starter during his Cowboys days, Scandrick’s best season came back in 2013 when he recorded 64 tackles, 12 passes defended and two interceptions.

This move comes with a number of Eagles cornerbacks inactive at the start of camp, including Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc.
