Dana White ‘numb’ to yet another Jon Jones incident, hints the end is near

UFC head Dana White speaks at the Republican National Convention in 2016.

UFC President Dana White is sick and tired of seeing one of his top fighters, Jon Jones, in the news for all the wrong reasons.

The latest news is that Jones is being charged with battery and is accused of assaulting a woman at a strip club, which he denies ever happened, per TMZ Sports.

In a radio appearance with Jim Rome of the Jim Rome Show, White took an exasperated tone when asked what he thinks about this latest incident.

White said he’s pretty much “numb” to any incidents involving Jones at this point in his career. He also said that, every time Jones fights, he wonders if it will be his last fight due to his lifestyle. He furthermore said that he once thought Jones could be a Jordan-esque figure because of his talent and lamented that it will never come to pass.

Clearly, White is fed up. And it’s not hard to understand why.

Jones has generated a laundry list of controversies throughout his MMA fighting career, including multiple failed drug tests. He also has an arrest on record for a hit-and-run accident in which he left a pregnant woman injured on the scene.
