While trolling in baseball generally only happens in the clubhouse between players, the St. Louis Cardinals’ media relations staff found a unique way to troll MLB.com’s Houston Astros beat reporter Brian McTaggart on Friday.

The Astros are at Busch Stadium for a three-game this weekend, but McTaggart is on a short break away from covering the team. When McTaggart’s colleagues showed up to the press box on Friday afternoon, they discovered a unique seating card left by the Cardinals’ media team.

McTaggart, an alumnus of the University of Houston, quickly discovered the hilarious burn on Twitter and responded with a GIF that captured his reaction.

The shot is very likely directed at Houston’s college football team, which went 8-5 this season with a 3-4 record away from its home stadium.

Of course, McTaggart could always point out that his alma mater is the only side that should be taking shots after Houston beat Saint Louis this year in basketball. Regardless, it’s fun to see those in the media having fun with each other just like the players do.
