Milwaukee Brewers star Christian Yelich has been on an absolute roll throughout the 2019 MLB season. He continued that with a powerful two-run blast off his former Miami Marlins team on Thursday.
It apparently was not lost on the Brewers that this homer came against the squad that sent the reigning NL MVP to Milwaukee prior to last season.
This is a solid burn right here. But it’s what the Marlins had to say in response that had the popcorn all ready and salted.
Dang, they didn’t even pull the scab off of that one. Miami manhandled the Brewers 16-0 back in Tuesday. It’s a game that saw the Marlins drop 11 runs in one inning.
We’re guessing Milwaukee won’t be living this down any time soon.
