LOOK: Le'Veon Bell wears No. 26 Jets jersey for the first time

It is official. New York Jets running back Le’Veon Bell has received his No. 26 jersey and the Jets have posted this first-peek reveal.

The 27-year-old running back has a chance for a fresh NFL start as a Jet. And, it is good to see that Bell did report to the team’s facility as head coach Adam Gase apparently never doubted.

Le’Veon Bell is at the Jets facility today. Three-day minicamp is the first and only mandatory event of the spring. He would have been subject to fines if he didn’t attend.

His attendance this week was never in doubt. Adam Gase conveyed that a couple weeks ago.

Bell stands to become quarterback Sam Darnold’s right-hand man and figures to be a key cog in New York’s offense this season.

It will be nice to finally see some good old-fashioned be played by Bell, now that he is settled into the long-term contract he so desperately wanted when with Pittsburgh.
