LOOK: Cowboys star hilariously shades Carson Wentz after extension

Just moments after Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz signed a four-year extension, Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence jumped on the news with some nice shade thrown at his rival.

Lawrence took to Twitter on Thursday evening and made it clear he was very aware of Wentz’s new deal and the contract will only serve as further incentive to get hits on Philadelphia’s star quarterback.

We’ve certainly seen the 27-year-old be able to back up his talk off the field with some exceptional play on the gridiron. However, despite recording 25 sacks over his past two seasons, Lawrence has failed to take Wentz down for a sack even once in his career.

Perhaps Wentz’s new contract will provide the incentive he needs to finally get the elusive sack on Wentz and then he can celebrate and potentially even include a money symbol.

For now, Lawrence will just have to enjoy the two consecutive victories over Philadelphia that the Cowboys will carry into the 2019 season.
