Report: Kawhi Leonard to visit with Raptors last after other free-agency meetings

Kawhi Leonard will be in Los Angeles for free-agency meetings with multiple teams next week at the start of free agency.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, he’s going to give his current team, the Toronto Raptors, the final chance to impress among all the teams vying for his services.

Among the teams rumored to have meetings already set up with the two-time NBA MVP are the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers. The Los Angeles Clippers are also reportedly going to be in on the Kawhi Leonard sweepstakes.

Coming off a legendary postseason run, Leonard is the premier free agent among a really enticing overall group this summer. Teams have a ton of money to spend overall.

But it’s worth pointing out that no team can offer him as much money as the Raptors can on a max deal. It’s also worth pointing out that they had amazing chemistry this past season, and that could mean plenty in the end.
