Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain is no stranger to robbing home runs. On Wednesday, Miami Marlins rookie Harold Ramirez gave Cain a taste of his own medicine.
In the first inning of Wednesday’s game, Cain launched a ball that appeared to be headed into the seats. Instead, Ramirez made a leaping grab at the ball to rob the homer.
Ramirez has really turned heads since getting called up in May. Entering Wednesday’s game, he was hitting .370/.410/.479.
If Ramirez continues to hit that well and make plays like this in the field, more people are going to notice him.
