WATCH: Yankees rookie Thairo Estrada hits first MLB homer

Young New York Yankees infielder Thairo Estrada entered the Majors having hit just 20 homers in 1,737 minor league at-bats.

It took the 23-year-old just 20 at-bats to accomplish that feat at the next level. At the plate against future Hall of Famer Felix Hernandez and the Seattle Mariners early on Monday, Estrada blasted his first ever MLB homer.

That was pretty much a no doubt about her blast from Estrado.

One of the Yankees’ top-20 prospects heading into the season, Estrada was hitting .333 in seven games before Monday’s outing. He’s now added a homer to the mix.
