The Houston Astros have been on fire at the plate over the past few handfuls of games. That’s included averaging two homers over the past 15 outings.

Taking on the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday, Houston figured to keep it up. That was definitely the case early as Alex Bregman hit a homer with one out in the top of the first.

But with Houston up 3-1 in the top of the four, Tigers left fielder Christin Stewart absolutely robbed George Springer of a homer.

That’s going to go on Stewart’s highlight reel for some time. What makes this catch so amazing is that the ball was slicing away from the young outfielder. He still found a way to track it down.

At this point, robbing Astros players of homers might be the best defense. After all, opposing pitching staffs are not having much success.
