WATCH: Raptors-Bucks game included worst foul call you’ll ever see

John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

NBA officials shouldn’t be playing a prominent role in games, let alone when it comes to playoff basketball.

Unfortunately, that’s what we saw during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks.

With the series tied at two, evey call and every play will be under a microscope. Official Tony Brothers decided to take it upon himself to play a major role in the early part of the game.

Just check out this charge he called against young Raptors star Pascal Siakam early in the outing.

In what world did Bucks big man Brook Lopez have his feet set? This should have been a blocking foul and an opportunity for a three-point play. Instead, Siakam was called for his second foul of the game.

Talk about changing the dynamic of a huge Game 5 outing with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line.
