Stephen Curry (finger) will be good to go for Game 3

Both the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors received scares early in Game 2 of their playoff series Tuesday night.

Rockets MVP James Harden went down with a scary-looking eye injury and didn’t return until a the second quarter. A little before that, two-time league MVP Stephen Curry suffered a dislocated finger.

With Golden State up 2-0 in the series heading into Game 3 Saturday night, the Rockets expect Harden to be near 100 percent.

According to Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, the same can be said about Mr. Curry.

Curry was also a full participant in practice on Thursday. Remember, he suffered a sprained ankle in Golden State’s first-round win over the Clippers.

The ankle and finger have obviously impacted Curry. He’s averaging 19.0 points and shooting just 39 percent from the field through the first two games of the series.

The hope here is that a three-day break in between games will have both Harden and Curry at near 100 percent come Saturday night.
