Seahawks sign former Pro Bowler Ezekiel Ansah, per report

The Seattle Seahawks have added some pass rush late in free agency after trading Frank Clark last month.

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Seattle has signed former Detroit Lions Pro Bowl edge rusher Ezekiel Ansah to a one-year contract.

Ansah, 29, could be a major get for the Seahawks. He was limited to just seven games last season. Prior to that, Ansah recorded 17 quarterback hits and 12 sacks in 2017.

He’ll join rookie first-round pick L.J. Collier on a Seahawks defense that’s attempting to overcome the loss of Clark.
