Raptors’ Pascal Siakam doubtful for Game 4

As the Toronto Raptors prepare to face the Boston Celtics and fight off a 3-1 series deficit, they are likely to be without one of their best players on Sunday.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, power forward Pascal Siakam is doubtful to take the court in Game 4 due to a right calf contusion.

The impact: Siakam has played a key role for Toronto this season and taken his play even further in the postseason series against Boston.

  • The 25-year-old is averaging 23.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals per games across the first three games of the playoff series.
  • Even in a rough Game 2 performance when he scored 21 points on 25 attempts, he contributed defensively with seven rebounds, four steals and one block.

If Siakam is unable to receive clearance to suit up for Sunday’s game, it could lead to more minutes for Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka and Eric Moreland.

The 76ers already held the advantage in Game 4 by playing at home with a two-game winning streak, now the Raptors will be without their second-best player.
