If you’ve ever wanted to be in a real life version of Super Mario, you might have a chance, courtesy of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The Pirates are running an in-game promotion where a fan has a chance to essentially be the real life version of Mario. The fan chosen for Wednesday afternoon’s game ran the course pretty well — until the end (H/T Cut4).
Falling face first onto the warning track can’t ever feel good. But this guy got to be Super Mario for a little bit. We’d say that’s worth getting a little dirty.
